[TUT] Ripple Training - Final Cut Pro 6 on 6

Final Cut Pro 6 on 6

As you might have heard, there's a new Studio in town, and it includes Final Cut Pro 6 with some fantastic new enhancements. We're calling this tutorial 6 on 6 because we created 6 in-depth lessons on the new features. In these tutorials we'll give you the straight skinny on what they mean to your workflow.

Who are these tutorials for?

These tutorials were designed for two types of Final Cut Pro users - those who are on the fence as to whether they should upgrade, and those who already plan on upgrading and want a tour-de-force on how to master the new features. No matter what camp you are in, these lessons cover a lot of ground. In fact, because Final Cut Pro is now part of a larger "suite" of apps, we spend a great deal of time discussing how Final Cut Pro plays with Motion, Soundtrack Pro and Color.

Each step in the editing workflow is presented in easy-to-follow learning modules that include chapter markers you can use to navigate to the section you want to view (or review). It's the next best thing to having a one-on-one training session with Steve. The tutorial movies themselves are presented in widescreen format (1200x800) at full frame rates so they look particularly good on Apple Cinema displays.

About the Instructor

Steve Martin trains Apple-certified instructors for Apple computer and has been using and teaching Final Cut Pro since 1999. He is known around the world for his easy-going, straight forward, teaching style. He is also the "voice" of the QuickTour demo movies on Final Cut Studio currently showing on Apple's web site.

What's in this Tutorial?

There are 6 lesson movies that download to your computer. Each lesson can be viewed as a stand-alone module. Like non-linear editing itself, you don't need to start from the beginning; just jump to the chapter that interests you and begin watching.
