Regarding Dropbox, what this guy said...

This is not a solution for those who share the bulk of the things posted in the forums. Dropbox has a 2 GB total limit for free accounts, 50 GB limit for $9.99 USD/month and 100 GB limit for $19.99 USD/month...and I didn't even bother to look at bandwidth limits for those downloading from DP links.

This won't work unless you only share the odd file, here and there.

Yah, drop box isn't NEAR a solution in terms of what's getting shared/dl-ed from Codez. The limit on space alone wouldn't even come close to being enough not to mention the bandwith limits... it's a great option for personal file sharing but something on this level it won't even come close.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with the sites that still work? In terms of downloading files, I prefer Mediafire over all these sites, no waiting, capcha, bullsh*t ad "download" buttons etc.

Nothing's wrong with other sites that are still working, but do you realize the hundreds of terabytes of data that were posted on all the now useless sites?

Boggles the mind; the amount of work that will be involved. Especially large file apps/games...with Mediafire having a 200MB limit. Everyone's hurting. :(

Yeah of course that sucks, but nothing todo but get back on the horse... ask anyone who can reupload to do so?
200MB limit sucks, didn't know of that, no other site with a larger limit?

It's deleting files as fast as they're uploaded...actually, it's refusing uploads when I try to use it in mirrorcreator.com. I'm avoiding it.

I just wonder what will take over the load of hosting the files on this site? Bittorent would work for me but that seems to be a no go...

BTW uploaded.to works in middle east but looks like no downloading... :P
