A Mail app that does it all?

Could anybody please tell me if there is an app out there that handles all mail (pop, gmail, -older- hotmail) and/or: something like Spamsweep that also spam checks the accounts first?

I'd also be very happy with an alround widget that just tells me that ive got mail somewhere.
(like 'ECheck' checking for: AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, IMAP, .Mac, POP, POP SSL, Yahoo, but thats discont.)

Hotmail in AppleMail could also be a solution, but found no good plug for 10.5.4.
(Gmail works fine in AppleMail, so again, Microsoft seems the bottleneck)

If u can, tell gmail to check your hotmail account (i think hotmail doesn't support redirection) and any other account. Then u have only 1 account to check with all your emails and the best spam filter.

PS maybe the best is to delete the hotmail account forever

thx but where else should i have my spam dumped then.
Seriously..in the very beginning it was OK and the only (easy) one,
now Im hooked because it's so old and out there a lot (my address i mean)
Gmail forwards. Old (non-paying) Hotmail doesnt

use macfreepops to get hotmail, and most other webmail

there's somethign for mail to work with hotmail. Can't remember what it's called but hopefull yme telling you it exists will help
